Jill (a friend of Silvio’s) and I went for lunch today at Il Piccolino. My experience was beyond anything that could be described. Each dish was better than the one before! The food was so fresh! Each bite was bursting with sensational flavors. I felt like I was in a movie...Eat, Pray, Love 2...If they make a sequel, they must have a bit of the movie at Silvio’s Il Piccolino! The staff was stunning, Silvio, charming. It was a little dream for my girlfriend and me. I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT 100% and will be coming back soon with my husband and friends. Thank you Silvio

Someone recommended this place and we though to try it. Main course was well done nothing amazing, but the big disappointment was with the mozzarella...suppose to be fresh but it was quitte dry inside. Manager insisted that was a good mozzarella but it is one of the worst ones I have tried. He was insisting that was good mozzarella but when I offered to bring him some fresh mozzarella so he can see the difference he refused! They were polite enough to not charge us for it. Service was good otherwise. For the prices they are charging I would expect better quality.

There's a really delightful collection of dishes on this menu. While most of the plates tend toward the smaller size, it's really more of a feature than a fault because it gives you a chance to eat more things. I'm also a fan of places that don't bow to the whims of every picky eater in Los Angeles. I was particularly impressed by the carrot tostada, the pork belly, and the masa gnocchi. Husband got the salmon and was pretty much over the moon for it. Heck, I'm usually not a big fan of cooked salmon and even I found it to be really enjoyable. The short ribs were also crazy delicious. Jesus, how much did we eat?

Our dinner was wonderful. Sylvio, the owner greeted us at the curb. He is such a warm, lovely host. I had the chicken parmesan which is out of this world and their fabulous chocolate mousse for dessert. They took our temperature before they seated us and of course all the diners were socially distanced. It was a wonderful experience.

The Dover Sole at lunch today was melt-in-your-mouth luscious and delicious...in fact, three of us at my table had it and we were all in Dover heaven. I've known owner Silvio De Mori for decades and he has always been passionate about everything he serves.

Wow! I’m a musician and I tour all over the world. I’ve been to Italy many times- all 20 regions. Maybe you have read some of my other reviews in which case you know that I am a foodie and very particular about what I eat and where I eat and the ingredients that I consume. I’m also an excellent cook. Well this place rocks in all categories. We were a party of four and we ordered lots and lots of stuff and it was all superb. If you can get Christie as your waitress you will have struck it rich. She is the greatest. Granted, this place ain’t cheap but for the quality of food and the service it’s a great deal.

Great neighborhood lunch spot. Consistently good/fresh food, friendly service, and a cool outdoor area to sit with tons of sun and plenty of cute dogs and babies to watch. You can always count on a great meal here.Here are our favorites:* ANY SALAD WITH THEIR OVEN ROASTED TOMATOES - faves are Caprese and Tuna* PARMA SANDWICH - make sure to request it pressed* COFFEE DRINKS - very tasty!

Eclectic interior, easy steet parking during the day. Large portions. Enjoyed the caprese and fried calamari. Had the white fish entree and was underwhelmed. Desserts were pretty but way too sweet for me. We tried the bead pudding, chocolate mousse, and salted caramel.

The food has always been great. It's pricey, but I'd you feel like splurging for a nice dinner, it's a great option. The black truffle risotto is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The wings were crunchy and spicy so that was perfect. The Nashville chicken sandwich was delicious just the right amount of crunch. The spice was very on point!!! The cheese and pickles enchanted the flavor.

Excellent food, excellent service, great setting, and a great host. And the desserts are to die for: the chocolate mousse is beyond compare. We've eaten here many times over the past 5 years (at least 10) and we're just as pleased as we were the first time.

Il Piccolino is a MUST EAT when visiting Los Angeles or when you have a low key business meeting. I personally prefer eating lunch here. The location is fantastically convenient, and OMG everything I have ordered over the years has been cooked to perfection. I cannot even think of a personal favorite plate because everything I have tried is amazing ..... Table service is exceptional.

It was ok. The service was fine. They were out of some of the fruit for dessert, so they brought a fruit festooned chocolate mousse. Prix fixe lunch not a bad deal!

California Burrito all the way! Yo you gotta get this burrito if you get anything here! Comes with choice of protein, guac, fries, salsa, cheese. Mmmm just writing this I'm salivating just thinking about this entering my mouth!Churros are delish but just the one with the cinnamon sugar coating!Salsas = HOME MADE DELICIOUSNESS!

Amazing place. An experiece coming here. Small and intimate. Great wine menu with some moderately priced Borellos. Had the short rib pasta. Very rich, very good. Asparagus soup was great. Shared the Mousse for dessert. Also wonderful. Great place to eat.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Disgusting food. Ridiculous prices. Horrible service. My roast chicken ($40) was so overcooked, I couldn't get it down. The pasta was dry and their bolognese, tasteless. I don't know where they're getting the good reviews from. Stay away!

The best restaurant in Los Angeles and Silvio and Eddie are the best host. The best quality food anywhere. For those of you who think it’s pricey remember it’s top quality food and fresh everyday. So you pay for the best. I been going there since they opened and I refer people everyday.
